I have fallen unwell and need to suspend my membership, what options do I have?
- A member may request to have their membership suspended at any time under certain circumstances*. This will take effect from the first day of the month following their request. i.e. if they request suspension on for example 15th of a month, it will take effect from the 1st of the following month.
- Members will pay full membership fees for any or all of the first 3 months of their suspension period. Note, full membership fees will be based on their Membership package at the time of request for suspension.
- Where a member requests an extension of suspension beyond 3 calendar months, they will be charged 50% of standard membership for every subsequent complete month.
- Exception to Rule: Where a member produces an official medical certificate to support their request for suspension, they will be entitled to a rate of 50% of standard fee from the 1st of the month following the submission and acceptance of their medical certificate.
- Members will be entitled to Virtual Membership during their period of suspension. This includes all the benefits of membership, except attendance at group or national events or access to complimentary 4-balls.
- Members may request to return to full membership at any time, from the 1st of the month following their request.
- On return to full membership, normal membership fees will apply for their chosen membership level. Returning members will then, once again, have access to group events, national events, and complimentary 4-balls, in addition to the Business App and Business networking social media groups.
*Suspension will only be approved on the following grounds; illness, injury, significant business related problems, change of employment, personal family related issues. “FORE” Business reserves the right to refuse suspension without explanation at any point.
